Bumblebees Room  3-16 Months
Your little ones journey starts here within our beautiful bumblebees room. The room has been specifically designed for non-walkers, it has its own sleeping area, changing facilities and shares a fully equipped kitchen with the ladybirds room.  The room allows your little one to explore and play safely in a home from home environment for these first few important months in the world.
The room only has full-time dedicated members of staff who are qualified to a minimum of level 3 and they will have one key person as your point of contact.

Ladybirds Room 17 – 30 Months
Our ladybirds continue their journey in a more open and free-flowing environment inside and outside to enhance their learning. This ensures they continue to progress and grow allowing them to discover more and to do so at their own pace. They have their own fully equipped kitchen (shared with bumblebees), toilets and changing facilities. They have a wider variety of activities and opportunities to explore new things including optional additional activities for 2 years + such as dance and forest play*. They also will follow a daily routine that mirrors our butterflies room to create stability as they settle into nursery life.

Butterflies Room 31 Months-4 Years
Our butterflies move into our ‘main’ nursery rooms where they can continue to expand their learning in more stimulating and interesting ways suitable for their age. The daily routine is mirrored with the ladybirds room to aid a smooth transfer into the butterflies room.  They also have their own toilet and changing facilities as well as a ‘child size’ kitchen to prepare their own snacks and drinks safely to promote self-well-being. We aim to provide a fun-packed curriculum covering all areas of development within the Early Years Foundation Scheme (EYFS). Alongside a wealth of day to day activities provided they will also have the opportunity to engage in optional additional activities such as dance and forest play* all encouraging confidence and expanded learning that support their individual needs.

As they reach pre-school stage we incorporate visits to and from the community taking them into the local environment and school. These experiences help make the transition to school a happy one.

Forest Play and Bush craft* (Optional)

Further to our day to day activities we offer additional sessions in forest play* and bush craft* from 2 years plus run by a qualified forest leader alongside our own staff. These sessions are a unique learning experience to develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on learning with nature to meet the needs of the children.

Further Extra Curricular Activities (Optional)

In addition to our forest play* and bush craft* we believe in offering as much variety as we can into the children’s days. Therefore, we have introduced a program of extra curricular activities including music, dance*, sports and languages which every child will have the opportunity of experiencing.

* Additional charges apply.
